PASTORAL LEAD & LEADERSHIP TEAM

Dave grew up on the Isle of Wight, where he became a Christian at 13 and discovered his calling for ministry. That passion led him to South Africa for a year, then to London for nine years on staff at a local church - starting as Youth Pastor and later as Congregation Pastor. Now back on the island, Dave's married to Kat and they have two awesome daughters. His heart's all about connecting with emerging generations, diving deep into biblical teaching, and sparking discipleship that multiplies.

LEADERSHIP TEAM

Maarten and Jane have been married since 1989 and are parents to Becca, Peter and Josh. They've called the Isle of Wight home since 2003, when they joined True Vine Church. Maarten lectures at the University of Southampton and plays bass in the worship band, bringing energy to every service. Jane's a registered nurse who's deeply involved in pastoral ministry, offering support and care to the church family. Together, they're passionate about building authentic connections and helping people grow in faith.

LEADERSHIP TEAM

Peter's been on the Isle of Wight since 2003, after stints in overseas missionary work and youth ministry in Burton on Trent. Today, he works with Newport Youth Project, partnering with local churches to reach and disciple teenagers in Newport. In his downtime, he plays piano and hangs out with family and friends. Peter's a gifted graphic designer with a fire for seeing people encounter Jesus - especially the younger generation surrendering their lives to him and stepping into their purpose.

LEADERSHIP TEAM

Reuben started attending True Vine in his 20s and quickly jumped into the Worship Ministry as a leader, now serving on the leadership team too. By day, he's a videographer and photographer specialising in high-quality social media content, and he runs Isle of Wight Stock for creative resources. Reuben's married to Jess, and they have a young son. His passion is creating spaces where worship comes alive and helping others capture life's meaningful moments through faith and creativity.

OPERATIONS MANAGER & LEADERSHIP TEAM

Mike handles the day-to-day support at True Vine, with everything from administration and communications to facilities management and keeping the leadership team running smoothly. Born and raised on the Isle of Wight, he's all about making church life seamless so everyone can focus on what matters. Outside of work, Mike's passionate about cycling through the island's trails and photographing its stunning views. His goal is to build a welcoming community where faith thrives and people feel connected.

LEADERSHIP TEAM

Pete and Sarah have been part of True Vine since getting married in 1990, and take a lead in stewarding the church's budgets and finances. They have two grown children, Nick and Abi, and bring their professional skills to the table - Pete as a Business Manager at the Isle of Wight GP Federation, and Sarah as administrator for Isle of Wight Youth for Christ. Passionate about stewardship, they're committed to empowering the next generation to live out their faith boldly.

Andy's been with True Vine since day one, growing alongside the church community. Married to Ange, he's a dad to three adult sons and has spent decades running an agricultural and construction machinery business with his brother Si. His roots on the Isle of Wight run deep, and he's all about fostering genuine faith. Andy's passion lies in seeing that faith in action - whether through business or supporting the church's mission to bring life to the island.
